HISTORICAL PROJECTS

In the past the Rockfield team has completed a number of renewable and conventional energy investments and transactions such as;

• Zephyr Wind - Private equity backed acquisition, project financing, operation and sale of 400MW of UK wind farms.
• Teesside Power - acquisition of approximately 65% of the outstanding loan notes in the 1850MW CCGT project company from a consortium of US and UK based bondholders.
• Drax - biomass strategy advisory services.
• Western Biomass Energy - working with a private equity investor to oversee construction, commissioning and early stage operation of a project financed 13.8MWe wood fuelled biomass project in Wales.
• CERT Environment - working with a private equity investor to structure an investment in a small 1.8MWe/3.0MWth biomass project in Western Europe.
• SONOCO - advising a leading industry player on the acquisition of two small gas fired CHP plants in the UK
• WINDBERRY - leading the development of over 60 small scale FIT onshore wind projects working with Savills as exclusive land agent
• IMPERATIVE - invested in one of the early developers of small to medium sized biomass boilers and ESCO providers in the Republic of Ireland and the UK
