Rockfield has a differentiated and disciplined business plan focused on developing high value renewable energy projects from inception to completion. In addition, Rockfield will also identify late stage development/early construction investment opportunities for construction funders looking to deliver projects through to commercial operation. Rockfield's investment philosophy is value based and developments and acquisitions are expected to yield competitive risk adjusted returns. The development activity is primarily UK based.
Other investments that will be considered on a selective basis include:
- New build/development projects in selected markets
- Distressed or partially built assets
- Capital restructuring, MBOs and corporate risk warehousing
- District heating and cooling
- Merchant assets on a case-by-case basis
- Industrial projects with power and/or steam applications or requirements

The preferred approach is to work directly with owners and developers who are looking for strategic investment partners for new, existing or refurbished projects.
